Mitchel sighed out before he went behind Serena and hugged her tightly. "She was raped by Tyler when Father and I went out to get clothes for our guest Ciel and her birthday gifts. Tyler was supposed to watch over Serena and Ciel even though he couldn't see Ciel he was told that Ciel was here. But since he chose to be a complete *wad to her and rape her he was arrested for raping a minor."
Emily and Justina both looked at Serena who looked up at Mitchel. "I...I just want to go to my room please. Let me go brother."
He did and she left the table without a word taking care of her paper plate. As she walked Emily and Justina both noticed how slow she walked and the fact that she winced and limped as she did so. Emily looked down sadly. "Had I not fought with father this wouldn't have happened. Who thought it was a good *ing idea to leave the mentally ill child with the one person who wanted to kill her the moment she came into the house?"
"That would be me, I didn't know that he didn't like her nor did he want to do her harm. I'm starting to see that I barely know anything about what's going on in my own house." He said sadly
Justina and Emily both scoffed. "That's a *ing understatement Father." Justina said unamused "You placed your eldest daughter with the youngest in the worst room in the damn house. Not to mention you placed the two people who have the least amount of * in a big ass *ing room."
"This is why we went to get you two. We want to make things livable for all parties involved and I know damn well that Serena isn't going to want to be in that damn half ass excuse for a damn room anymore with the bad experience that had happened to her in it. So we need to figure things out and force that woman to get the hell out of there. Ever since Serena had heard from father that she is a burden to this family after the wreck she was in with our dearly departed mother, she has closed herself up emotionally and doesn't speak up as much as she used to. Not to mention Emily-Justina, you two have made it rather clear that you two hate Serena. Tell me is that true?" Mitchel asked
Emily frowned as she looked down ashamed of herself. "I don't hate her persay-I just hate that we had to be in that damn room together. It get's really *ing cold in the winter, both Serena and I have gotten severely sick being back there. Serena has hidden her sickeness away from people unlike me. She's taken care of me more times than not and that shouldn't have been a thing to begin with." Emily said sadly
Justina sighed out. "I don't know whether or not I hate her or not. But knowing that Tyler was stupid enough to rape her...I can lay off of whatever I feel to make her life better. She's adopted into this family and she's been treated like * by all of us here-I know damn *ing well that woman lies to stay out of being in a foster family."
"Alright then, with that out of the way. What are we going to do with the room arrangement? We need to keep into consideration Serena cannot under any circumstances be left alone to her own devices." Mitchel said seriously
Emily was the first to speak up. "I think us three girls should be in the room that was given to you and that *. Our guest can be in the small room by the stairs and you can have Justina's room."
"Do you think you two can handle being in the same room as Serena?" Nile asked curiously
"Duh? We both can help her out a lot better than you guys can. Not to mention Serena shouldn't be bunking in a room with a dude." Justina said with her arms crossed
"With the back room empty-we can use that room for extra storage." Emily stated
"Or...what we can do is have the storage room we have now go down to that room, we can have that room be the room that Ciel has with Serena, Justina shares her room with Emily. Then we can bunk Mitch and I together in his room. After that we can have the small room be used for Rena's puzzles and the other room can be used as a gaming room for all of us so we aren't crowding up the living room."
"I agree that the storage should be down here in the after thought of a room, but having Serena and our guest in a room together shouldn't happen Nile." Emily said shaking her head
"You don't know the guy, he's been a lot more help around here than either one of you have been." Mitchel said seriously "But I must interject about having Serena be in a room where she'd have to go walk into someone else's room. She'd never want to get out of the room if that's the case. Emily and Justina should have the rooms that are beside one another. The big room should defiently have you and I nile but the other room should go to Serena and our guest."
After Mitchel spoke all of them tried to talk over one another which was giving their father a head ache so he left the table, he had seen Ciel leave as all of them had ignored that Serena had been left alone in her room. He just stayed near the laundry room portion of the back as he overheard the two of them speak.
"...shouldn't need to hold yourself back. Right now your adoptive siblings are trying to figure out the best way for you to live out of this place."
"I deserve to be here. It's away from all of them and I have no interaction with all of those who are blood related to the head of the house. Being the burden that I am, I deserve this. I deserve the lack of an actual space to call my own."
"You've truly been brainwashed haven't you?"
"More like forced into submission, I am unable to do anything without any of them making a fuss out of it."
"Let's speak hypothetically here-if there was anyone you'd like to be around who would it be?"
"Hm...Certainly not Emily and Justina. They don't let me sleep when I need to for school, and I cannot trust Mitchel and Nile either due to them being blood brothers to him...So I guess if I need to be around someone it'd be you."
"Alright, with that out of the way-again hypothetically speaking here, what room would make you feel the safest to be in other than this room?"
"Hm...The small room at the top of the stairs-but two people can't sleep in that room even with bunk beds. So the next option after that would be the room beside it."
"Alright then. I'm going to talk to those morons. They obviously are beyond dolts for not even considering to ask you what you'd be interested in."
"W-Wait....What?!"
"I'll be right back."
Her father then saw Ciel leave and he went into her room. "Serena, tell me honestly-do you like being in this room?"
Serena shook her head no. "I hate this room, it's too cold in the winter and I feel like I'm an outside in this house since if things are announced for people I can't hear it from in here."
"How long have you been sleeping on the floor?" He asked confused "I thought you had a bed frame?"
"Nope, your wife never thought to get me one. Ever since I had this bed I've had to deal with being on the floor...and mind you this is Emily's old bed and it hurts cause of all of the springs popping up from the bed."
"Tomorrow you're not going to school, I'm going to tell your school you need a day off from school due to what happened to you and we're going to be looking for a bed set for you to have that is your own that you like."
Serena's eyes widened in shock "R-Really?! I-It's not going to be too much trouble for me to get my own bed?"
He hated that she was still going with the mentality that she wasn't wanted in the family, he bent down to meet her eyes before he softly placed a hand on the top of her head. "Serena, you've been treated like * for too long. I know it's mainly my wifes fault that you were treated so badly. I want that to change that. Also, what you heard me say isn't that you are a burden-I was warning the lot of them to make sure it seems like you weren't a burden to this family. I noticed how much they weren't around you. You've never been a burden to me sweetie."
Serena teared up and nodded her head. "O...okay."
